Objective​

Restore conversion signal quickly and safely.

Validation Flow​

  1. Check if event fires in browser debug mode.
  2. Check tag manager publish history and recent changes.
  3. Check destination platform receipt (GA4/Ads).
  4. Check deduplication and value passing logic.
  5. Check consent and blocking conditions.

Immediate Mitigation​

  • Pause automated bid changes if primary conversion is broken
  • Switch temporary optimization to stable proxy metric if approved
  • Notify client with impact estimate and ETA

Exit Criteria​

  • Event firing and value validation confirmed
  • 24-hour post-fix monitoring complete
  • Incident notes added to change log
